APPLICATION AND RESEARCH CENTERS DIRECTORS INFORMED ON THE USE OF ELECTRONIC INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A coordination meeting was held at Istanbul Gelisim University on March 26, 2026, under the chairmanship of Vice Rector for Research and Development, Prof. Necmettin Maraşlı. During the meeting, the activities, objectives, and institutional processes of the Center for Economic Policies Application and Research were discussed.

A coordination meeting was held on 26 February 2026 between the Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit (UYGARMER) and the Quality Coordinatiorship. During the meeting, the report formats prepared by the application and research centers were evaluated, and views were exchanged regarding quality processes.

The “Application and Research Centers Scientific Research Project Preparation Workshop,” organized through the collaboration of the Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit and the Scientific Research Projects Coordination, was held with the participation of Directors, Vice Directors, and Board Members of the Application and Research Centers (ARCs).

The seminar titled “From Idea to Value: Entrepreneurship and Innovation,” organized by the New Generation Entrepreneurship and Innovation Application and Research Center (YNGUAM), addressed university–industry collaborations, support mechanisms for entrepreneurs, and the processes through which innovative ideas are transformed into added value through systematic structures.

An orientation meeting was held on 27 January 2026 with Prof. Yusuf Can, who was appointed as a member of the Coordination Board of Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit. During the meeting, the structure, functioning, and reporting processes of the Coordination Unit and the Coordination Board were discussed.

Within the scope of the coordination meetings organized to strengthen the activities of the Application and Research Centers (ARC) , a meeting was held with the Continuing Education Application and Research Center on January 15, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Vice Rector for Research and Development, Prof. Necmettin Maraşlı.

In order to strengthen the activities of Istanbul Gelisim University’s Application and Research Centers, coordination meetings have started to be held as of December 2025 under the chairmanship of Vice Rector for Research and Development, Prof. Dr. Necmettin Maraşlı, with the participation of center directors.

An online information meeting regarding the preparation of YÖKSİS Reports, Annual Activity Reports, and the Performance Evaluation Criteria and Implementation Principles Form was held on December 10, 2025, via Google Meet by the Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit. Application and Research Centers participated in the meeting.

The team of the Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit visited the Istanbul Gelisim University Technology Development Center (TEKMER) office on 20 November 2025 and met with TEKMER Vice Director Büşra Öztürk. During the meeting, information was received about the companies operating within TEKMER, and potential collaboration opportunities and project ideas were discussed.
