Our Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit consists of a Coordinator, Vice Coordinators and a Coordination Board.
Tasks of the Coordinator;
-To chair the Istanbul Gelisim University Application and Research Centers Coordination Board in the absence of the Vice-Rector in charge of Research and Development,
-To act as the secretariat of the Application and Research Centers Coordination Board,
-To ensure the coordination between the Application and Research Centers and to submit the relevant decisions to the Senate as necessary,
-To present the activities of the Application and Research Centers Coordination Board to the Rector or the Chairman of the Board of Trustees every six (6) months.
Tasks of the Vice Coordinators;
-Vice Coordinators perform the duties assigned by the Coordinator in order to assist the Coordinator in the execution of the activities of the Application and Research Centres Coordination Unit.
Tasks of the Coordination Board;
-To ensure the administrative coordination of the Centers,
-To evaluate the procedures for the establishment of the new Center to be created,
-To examine the name, quality, content, changes to be made in the activities and income-expenditure etc. of an existing Center,
-To evaluate the annual activities of the Centers according to the ‘Performance Criteria’ specified in the Fourth Section of the Directive on Opening, Monitoring, Evaluation and Closure of Application and Research Centers and to report the evaluation results to the Rector or the Chairman of the Board of Trustees,
-Monitoring the process of setting up the Center's Director, Deputy Director, Management Board, Advisory Board, etc., in accordance with the relevant regulations, and informing the Rector,
-Monitoring and reporting on the up-to-dateness of the Centers' websites.
