Coordination Meeting Held for Sustainable Development Goals Reports

Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit at Istanbul Gelisim University held a coordination meeting with the Career Guidance Application and Research Center (KARYON) on September 1, 2026.

A coordination meeting was held regarding the “Sustainable Development Goals Reports,” prepared as part of the sustainability efforts of the Application and Research Centers and Istanbul Gelisim University. During the meeting, the processes for the preparation of reports on different Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the relevant Application and Research Centers were evaluated.

As part of the coordination meetings organized to strengthen the activities of Istanbul Gelisim University Application and Research Centers, a meeting was held with the Occupational Health and Safety Training Application and Research Center on May 21, 2026. During the meeting, the Center’s ongoing activities and future objectives were discussed.

The Coordination Board of the Application and Research Centers (UYGARMER) of Istanbul Gelisim University held its first meeting of 2026 on April 28, 2026, on the 22nd floor of the Tower Building under the chairmanship of Vice Rector responsible for R&D, Prof. Necmettin MARAŞLI. During the meeting, the activities of the Application and Research Centers were evaluated.

A coordination meeting was held at Istanbul Gelisim University on March 26, 2026, under the chairmanship of Vice Rector for Research and Development, Prof. Necmettin Maraşlı. During the meeting, the activities, objectives, and institutional processes of the Center for Economic Policies Application and Research were discussed.

A coordination meeting was held on 26 February 2026 between the Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit (UYGARMER) and the Quality Coordinatiorship. During the meeting, the report formats prepared by the application and research centers were evaluated, and views were exchanged regarding quality processes.

The “Application and Research Centers Scientific Research Project Preparation Workshop,” organized through the collaboration of the Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit and the Scientific Research Projects Coordination, was held with the participation of Directors, Vice Directors, and Board Members of the Application and Research Centers (ARCs).

The seminar titled “From Idea to Value: Entrepreneurship and Innovation,” organized by the New Generation Entrepreneurship and Innovation Application and Research Center (YNGUAM), addressed university–industry collaborations, support mechanisms for entrepreneurs, and the processes through which innovative ideas are transformed into added value through systematic structures.

An orientation meeting was held on 27 January 2026 with Prof. Yusuf Can, who was appointed as a member of the Coordination Board of Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit. During the meeting, the structure, functioning, and reporting processes of the Coordination Unit and the Coordination Board were discussed.
