Information Meeting on SDG Reports Held!


An information meeting was held regarding the preparation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) reports for which the Application and Research Centers are responsible. During the meeting, the key points to be considered in the preparation process of SDG 5, SDG 7, SDG 10, and SDG 11 reports were discussed.


At the meeting organized by the Application and Research Centers, Res. Asst. Kübra Aldırmaz delivered comprehensive briefings on the reports to be prepared within the scope of SDG 5 – Gender Equality, SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities. The presentation covered the methods to be followed in preparing the reports, ensuring content integrity, the use of supporting evidence, and the key criteria to be considered throughout the evaluation process.

The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Ahmet Sapmaz, Coordinator of the Application and Research Centers; Asst. Prof. Hilay Atalay, Director of the Application and Research Center for Environment, Urbanisation and Earth Sciences for SDG 11; Asst. Prof. Emrah Tüncer, Vice Director of the Social Responsibility Application and Research Center for SDG 10; Asst. Prof. Burcu Savaş Çelik and Asst. Prof. Tuğba Kantarcı, Vice Directors of the Sustainable Environment and Community Application and Research Center for SDG 7; and Res. Asst. Ece Demirkapu, Member of the Executive Board of the Gender Studies Application and Research Center for SDG 5.

Through this information meeting, it was aimed to ensure that the Sustainable Development Goals reports prepared by the Application and Research Centers are carried out more effectively and that SDG processes are developed in line with institutional standards.
