Application and Research Centers’ Directors Visited the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Prof. Kenan Aydın


The Application and Research Centers (ARC) Coordinator and the Center Directors visited the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Management and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Kenan Aydın in his office.


The Coordinators and Directors of the Application and Research Centers (ARC) at Istanbul Gelisim University visited the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences (FEASS), Prof. Kenan Aydın, in his office in March. During the visits, the Centers’ fields of activity, opportunities for collaboration, and future-oriented projects were discussed. 

Research Centers Presented Their Activities
The first visit was carried out on March 11, 2025, by Assoc. Prof. Emine Akçadağ Alagöz, Director of Political and Social Research Application and Research Center, and Assoc. Prof. Ahmet Sapmaz, Application and Research Centers Coordinator. The meeting addressed potential support from the faculty to the center and discussed topics related to the upcoming Karadeniz Summit.

On March 25, 2025, two separate meetings took place. At 11:00 a.m., Asst. Prof. Başak Özarslan Doğan, Director of Sustainable Environment and Society Application and Research Center, along with Assistant Directors Dr. Burcu Savaş Çelik and Dr. Tuğba Kantarcı, visited the Dean. They shared information about the Center’s 2025 activities and the planned Climate Summit.

Later that day at 2:00 p.m., Director of Psychology Application and Research Center, Assoc. Prof. Alişan Burak Yaşar, and Application and Research Centers Coordinator, met with the Dean to discuss the goals of the newly established center and its TUBITAK project applications.

During the visits, Dean Prof. Dr. Kenan Aydın expressed his willingness to support the scientific and social contributions of the centers. It was emphasized that the projects carried out by the centers contribute significantly to students, society, and science.

In the coming period, Directors of the Gender Studies, Career Guidance, Public Opinion and Social Research, and Economic Policy Application and Research Centers are also expected to visit the FEASS Dean’s Office.
