Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit Team Visited Continuing Education ARC and Distance Education ARC Offices


On May 8, 2025, the Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit visited the offices of the Continuing Education Center and the Distance Education Center to receive updates on the current activities of both centers.


The Application and Research Centers Coordination Unit team first visited the office of the Continuing Education Application and Research Center, located in Block A. During the visit, the team met with Continuing Education Application and Research Center Director Asst. Prof. Tayfun Timuray and Vice Director Nuray Fırat to receive information about the center’s ongoing training programs and how these programs are planned and organized.

In addition, the decisions taken during the Coordination Board Meeting of Application and Research Centers (Session 2025-2) were conveyed by Application and Research Centers Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Ahmet Sapmaz. These decisions emphasized the importance of unified communication among centers and updates to existing regulations.

 



In the second part of the visit, the Application and Research Centers Application and Research Centers  team visited the office of the Distance Education Application and Research Center, also located in Block A. During a meeting with 
Distance Education Application and Research Center Vice Director Ömer Şahin, the team received detailed information about the technical infrastructure provided by the center, its capabilities, and the measures taken to ensure the security of online exams. The rooms used for recording and broadcasting distance education courses were also toured.

The decisions from the recent Coordination Board Meeting were also shared with 
Distance Education Application and Research Center representatives to strengthen inter-center collaboration and ensure standardization of processes.
